Mark Breakdown:
At least 60% of the mark will be based on the test at the end of each Learning Guide. Students
must get at least 80% on a test in order to move on to the next Learning Guide. The remaining
mark (up to 40%) is based on how well students complete their Learning Guide, labs, etc.

Extra Help:
Be sure to come for help before you are too far behind. Before you come, make sure that you
have checked your notes carefully for help. I will try to be available for extra help at the
following times:
Before School, Period _______, and After School
If you can, try to make an appointment with me, so that I will definitely be available. If I should
have prior commitments, your help will have to wait a bit, but I will try my best to accommodate
you. Always remember: It is your RIGHT and your RESPONSIBILITY to ask for help.
Procedures
☻ Find your learning guide in the Math Shelves.
☻ Follow the directions in the learning guide.
☻ Check your work when you finish an assignment and do corrections if needed. Answer
keys are on the Math Shelves.
☻ When you are done the learning guide, complete the review (if available), study, and then
write the test.

in the class

☻ Work Quietly so that other students can concentrate on their work
