Professor of the Master on Publishing (subject: Special Sales and Projects)
Between 2001 and 2012 I teached (in-person class) the subject Special Sales and Projects for the
Publishing World for the Master on Publishing sponsored by Santillana Formación and the University of
Salamanca and for a similar master, this one online, sponsored by the Instituto Universitario de Posgrado
(IUP), the Santillana Foundation and the Universities of Salamanca, Barcelona, Alicante and Carlos III
(Madrid). The contents of the module, that I selected and developed myself, referred to both the
development of publishing projects ad hoc (to newspapers, businesses and institutions) and the sale of
original editions, customized with the brand image of the companies that acquire them. The course was
marketing-focused and pursued students to acquire a holistic view of the publishing business.
