The faculty & staff members enjoy democratic governance in the institute, have
access to and exercise powers in accordance with their rights & institute has an

There is transparency at all levels in administering activities of the College, where
all the members of SBSCOP family i.e. staff, faculty & students representative
participate in decisions relating to their own development.

(viii) Grievance redressal mechanism for Faculty, staff and students
Grievance redressal Committee has been constituted
A committee of heads of the departments headed by the senior most Lecturers is
constituted for listening & redressel for the grievances of staff and students. Two student’s
members are from each semester/year elected as class representatives (CRs) of each class.
The terms of each members other then students is one year. Institute ensures that the new
committee is constituted in July every year. Complaints can be given to any member of the
committee. Suggestion box both for Principal and Management is provided. The appeal
against the decision of the committee can be made to the Chairman, Managing Director,
Exec. Managing Director, Principal - for final appeal.

As per PTU, Jalandhar Information Broucher, Rule for readjustment/repaid of initial
deposit & other fee is as follows:
(a)
The intial deposit of Rs. 7500.00 by a student shall stand forfeited, if he/she
(i)
Does not pay requisite tuition and other fees within stipulated time to the
allotted College/University.

(b)
(ii)
does not continue the course of study after first semester.
(iv)
does not attend classes within 07 days of start of session.
Tuition fee and other charges paid by the candidate shall be refundable (after
deducting 10% of the tuition fee of the first semester) only if the candidate has
surrendered the seat with the respective college by 7th January, 2012 under
intimation to the University.
No refund shall be admissible after this cut off date.
11 CRITERIA AND WEIGHTAGES FOR ADMISSION
(a) Describe each criterion with its respective weightages
i.e., Admission Test marks in qualifying examination etc.
(i)
Highest marks in
Qualifying examination.
(b) Mention the minimum level of acceptance, if any. -Pass marks in 10+2 Examination
(Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with Math/Bio-Technology/Computer
Science/Biology and for direct admission in 2nd year; diploma in Pharmacy from PSBTE
Chandigarh/ Punjabi University, Patiala or any other university or any state board of technical
education provided that the diploma or the institute is duly approved by the AICTE.
(c) Mention the cut-off levels of percentage & percentile --Pass marks as per board rules
scores of the candidates in the admission test for the last three years
(d) Display marks scored in Test etc. and in aggregate
for all candidates who were admitted.
