Ms Betty Nelson Pollock will judge the National Owner-Handled Series Hound and Toy Groups and Mrs Gale
Yamaguchi will judge National Owner-Handled Series Terrier and Non-Sporting Groups in place of Mr Geir
Flyckt-Pedersen.

Reference Chapter 7, Section 13 of AKC Rules: Owner has the right to withdraw his entry and have his entry fee
refunded provided notification of his withdrawal is received no later than one half-hour prior to the start of any
regular conformation judging.

The number before each Breed (Variety) indicates the number of dogs entered in that Breed (Variety). The
numbers following each Breed (Variety) indicates the number of Regular Class Dogs, Regular Class Bitches, Best
of Breed (Variety) (Dogs-Bitches).

Reference Chapter 7, Section 13 of AKC Rules: Owner has the right to withdraw his entry and have his entry fee
refunded provided notification of his withdrawal is received no later than one half-hour prior to the start of any
regular conformation judging.
Dr Gerard C Penta will judge Retrievers (Flat-Coated), Retrievers (Chesapeake Bay) and Pointers (German
Shorthaired) in place of Mrs Keke Kahn. Mr Troy Clifford Dargin will judge Retrievers (Labrador), Setters (English),
Spaniels (Clumber), Spaniels (English Springer), Spaniels (Welsh Springer), Spinoni Italiani, Weimaraners, Brussels
Griffons, Chinese Cresteds, Havanese, Maltese, Miniature Pinschers, Poodles (Toy), Pugs and Shih Tzu in place of

ATTENTION EXHIBITORS
The Southwest corner door of the Varied Industries Building will be opened first at 6:00 am
followed by all other doors. Grooming area will be available 6:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday and
Saturday, and Sunday after 6:00 am. Dogs must be removed from the show site after Best in
Show Sunday, February 21, 2016. Doors will be locked from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
Entry to Fairgrounds through Grand Ave gate only.
All vehicle parking is controlled by the fairground police.
Parking on hard surface lot next to the building.
Grooming in designated area only. Obedience crating only around Obedience rings. Soft sided
crates allowed for Obedience crating. This will be strictly enforced!!!
Reserved grooming available. Open grooming limited.
Crates must be stacked. No private ex-pens, cocker pens, puppy pens, rugs or mats allowed in the
building. Designated aisles must be kept open!
Crates may be stacked in designated area of center aisle only during the time that breed is being
judged. No soft-sided crates allowed.
There will be no roping off or saving of grooming spaces inside the building or parking spaces
outside building.
Motor home & box trucks check in at the Public Safety Office for assistance in parking.
RV Parking • Limited electric available
Fee collected by the Iowa State Fair
All dogs must have current parvo shots & proof of rabies vaccination.
Please: We suggest no baby strollers in the building, for the safety of the children.
No leads over 6 Ft in building.
No dogs allowed in the restrooms. No grooming or bathing of dogs in the restrooms. No bathing
of dogs in any of the fairground buildings.
Food service will be available in the building.
Please keep the show grounds & building clean. Exhibitors will be responsible for their own setup areas.
Exhibitors are expected to clean up after their dogs on the show grounds at ALL times
AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, Chapter 11, Section 11, states: Only dogs that are eligible to be shown under the American Kennel Club rules shall be allowed within the
show precincts...
This will be enforced. No puppies under six months of age will be allowed "within the show
precincts."
