TERMS & CONDITIONS
i.
ii.
The Local bidder are required to provide:a.
company profile along with registration certificate (as per companies’ act 1984)
b.
List of Clients
c.
NTN/Sales Tax registration certificate
No advance payment is admissible
iii.
Quoted Prices should FCA be valid for at least a period of 120 days.
iv.
Ex-work prices will not be accepted.
v.
Offers must accompany Demand Draft or Pay Order equivalent to 2% of the total bid value as earnest money.
Proposals & Bids with cross cheque or without earnest money will be rejected.
vi.
Earnest money Demand Drafts or Pay Orders by 1
issuance of purchase order to the lowest firm.
vii.
Payments will be subjected to all prevailing local Taxes levied by Government of Pakistan and will be deducted at
source as per rules
viii.
The bidders may kindly note that payment terms exceeding equivalent one million Pak Rupees should
essentially be through Irrevocable Letter of Credit (IRLC) at sight
ix.
The bidder has to sign an agreement with PTVC besides providing 10% bank guarantees (BG) against shipment and
5% performance guarantee (PG). The shipment guarantee shall be discharged after the consignments are received in
our stores without discrepancy.
x.
The performance guarantee shall be discharged after completion of one year/ 18 Months as applicable, in case of
satisfactory performance. During the warranty period all expenses are to be borne by the supplier in case of
replacement of the unit/faulty parts.
xi.
The supplier is responsible for supply of spare parts at least for TEN years post warranty period.

PTV reserve the right to

PTV defaulters/black listed firms are not qualified to participate in the bidding process.

Envelope One (1) –Technical Prequalification Documents:
Clearly mention the proposed technical solution & proposal, company profile, NTN/Sales Tax, company Registration
certificate & Client list etc. copy of earnest money draft, clipping of News Paper & PPRA websites
Envelope Two (2) – Bid Price or Commercial Offer Details:
You’re most competitive, non-negotiable commercial offer clearly mentioning discount (if any) for the supply of subjected
equipment in compliance with PTV specifications.
Initially Technical Prequalification Documents will be studied and firms will be technically pre-qualified, Bid Price or
Commercial Offers will be opened in presence of representative of pre-qualified firms later on, on specified announced
date.
Bid Price or Commercial Offers from non-prequalified firms will not be opened and hence will be returned, sealed.
Your two envelop, Single Step proposal (one package) mentioning most competitive rates for the above facilities in a
separate sealed envelope may be sent to the “Chairman, Senior Tender Committee (STC), Controller Audit, PTV Head
Quarters, Constitution Avenue, Sector F-5/1, Islamabad” latest by February 16 (Tuesday), 2016 by PST 14:30 Hrs.
Only Technical Prequalification requests (Envelope ONE) will be opened on the same day after 14:30 Hrs, in presence of
bidders or their representatives, who may wish to attend.
