A sequestering agent is recommended. Formulations with PABA and its esters develop a yellow colour. Can form complexes with aluminium above pH 7, with free aluminium resulting from the coating of some grades of microfine pigments. The product may be stored for 24 months from the date of manufacture in the unopened original container and at a temperature below 25 °C. The ‘best used before’ date is printed on the label. Store in tight containers protected from light. Consult the table Solubility to ensure that PARSOL® 1789 is properly dissolved, in order to avoid the formation of crystals. To avoid the formation of complexes of PARSOL® 1789 with metals, it is recommended to add 0.05–0.1% of disodium EDTA.
