David Adler Author, The New Economics of Liquidity and Financial Frictions David Adler holds economics degrees from Columbia and Oxford universities. He is a speaker and writer on financial topics for such prestigious publications as The Financial Times, Barron’s, Institutional Investor and The New Republic. Prior to publishing his most recent book, The New Economics of Liquidity and Financial Frictions, he wrote the literature review entitled The New Field of Liquidity and Financial Frictions for the CFA Institute Research Foundation. He is also the author of a book about behavioural economics, Snap Judgment (FT Press), and he co-edited, with Michael A. Bernstein, the anthology Understanding American Economic Decline (Cambridge University Press). Mr. Adler was a producer of PBS’s NOVA documentary Mind over Money, and of the documentary America’s Crisis in Healthcare and Retirement, which also aired on PBS. He is the moderator of the Bloomberg LiveINSIGHTs conference series and author of related white papers.
