application, the following is required to be considered an internship candidate: Current resume; documentation of at least
100 hours of volunteer experience within a pediatric hospital or clinic setting; 2 letters of reference; Official transcripts
from all colleges/universities attended; essay questions (see below); and a Statement of Purpose focusing on the
following:
1. Your personal philosophy on working with children and families
2. How will this philosophy influence your role as a child life intern?
3. How is this philosophy a good match for UCD Children’s Hospital?
