How to become a Precinct Executive: Project Gavel Changing the People who Change the Policy Your County’s Candidate Selection Committee ( a.k.a. Central Committee ) is where we citizens meet to select our candidates for the legislatures at both the state and federal levels. These legislators then elect the all important Speaker of the House (and Senate Majority Leader in the Senate). For too many years we have left this responsibility in the hands of others, so have lost control of our country. If we want to change the law and policy, we must change the people who make the law and policy. That begins at the local, precinct level of your County’s Central Committee. A Precinct Executive: • is elected every two years (or 4 in some counties) in a Primary Election • must complete a petition, obtained from Board of Elections (available in Jan.) • must obtain 5-15 signatures of registered voters from your Party in your precinct • return petition prior to deadline • visit your neighbors, ask for their vote. • represents your neighborhood on your Party’s County Central Committee. When you win your position as Precinct Executive on the County Central Committee, you will now be in position to change the direction of your Party. Prior to a primary election, the Central Committee meets to endorse candidates (representatives, commissioners, judges, etc.) to be on their Party’s Voters’ Guide. This guide is used by most voters when they vote. This committee also votes to replace an elected position if it is vacated mid-term. Because of this endorsement process, this committee has the power to “un-elect” incumbents by not endorsing them. Your Party is a Coalition. A Coalition is a group of individuals joining together to achieve a common goal. The purpose of a political coalition is to win the gavel. State and federal legislatures each have a Chairman who controls the gavel in that body. The Speaker is another name for Chairman. The Chairman controls what is voted on and when. The GAVEL and the CALENDAR - if a Conservative Speaker is not in charge, we will never get the Limited government, Pro-life, Pro-free enterprise, Fiscally responsible country we seek. We have two major political Parties (Coalitions). The Republican Party tends to be Pro-Life, Pro-Second Amendment, and ProFree Enterprise, while the Democratic Party tends to be anti to those principles. The Party with the most elected candidates decides who the Chairman of each body is. This is because the first vote on the first day of each session is for the Chairman and it is ALWAYS straight down Party lines. In the history of the US, only one man broke this pattern, voting for the opposing Party’s candidate for Speaker. That vote resulted in the ruin of his career. Consequently, our focus should NOT be who the President is that is a distraction. It must be how many people we get elected within our Party to all offices, the legislature in particular. A DINO is a Democrat in name only. This means he/she is a conservative in the typically liberal Democratic Party (Coalition). Democrats who are in strong positions in their Party (such as Pelosi), promote a DINO in a conservative voting district. Why? So that gullible conservatives will “vote their conscience” and vote for the conservative Democrat. Pelosi is happy with such a victory. Why? Because she knows that the DINO will vote for a liberal Democrat for Speaker. The Conservative Democrat (DINO) will never get to vote on his “good” bills because the Democrat Speaker he has voted for will never allow it to come to a vote. THE HIGHEST OFFICE IN THE LAND is not President. It IS PRECINCT EXECUTIVE. Why? Because the precinct executive in each County Central Committee across the country is on the candidate selection committee. They 1) decide what candidates will be on the all-important voters’ guide distributed at the polls and 2) decide the direction of the County Republican (and Democratic) Party. ONLY CANDIDATES ENDORSED BY THE PARTY WIN THE PRIMARY. The Power to Un-Elect When there is no DINO to run in a conservative district, the Democrats have been known to pay for campaign literature to promote the Libertarian or Independent. Why? 1) The Libertarian/Independent will split the Republican vote, allowing the Democrat to win, and 2) The Libertarian/Independent will still have to vote for a Democrat or Republican for Speaker. A DINO in the Progressive-dominated Democratic Party WILL vote for a Progressive for Speaker (because they vote down Party lines). A RINO in the Conservative-dominated Republican Party WILL vote for a Conservative for Speaker (provided we've done our work to dominate with conservatives). There is NO SUCH THING as Independent or Non-Partisan. The Speaker’s Gavel is ABSOLUTELY PARTISAN. The Laws of Civics People are policy If your name is not on the ballot, you will not win Only candidates endorsed by the Party win the Primary The office of Precinct Executive is the Highest Office in the Land The unique ability of the Central Committee to DEPRIVE an incumbent of the endorsement is even more powerful than its ability to endorse. This is the true power to “Term Limit” legislators. Controlling the Endorsement process encourages conservatives, eliminates their despair and subsequent urge to go Third Party, beg for Term Limits or drop out altogether. So what should we do? 1) Dominate the Central Committee of the Republican Party (because that Coalition is more in line with conservative issues). By dominating this Party we will change the direction of the Party to a more conservative base. PEOPLE ARE POLICY. 2) Never vote for a Third Party candidate. Even if the Republican is liberal, he/she will still have to vote for a Republican Speaker.
