Testing will be completed within the regular school day with their regular teachers in familiar classrooms so that students can MAKE IT COUNT! Classes will start at the usual 8:00 am and end at the usual 2:25 pm. The only change is that some days the study hall minutes will be added to existing periods to accommodate the longer tests. Additionally, there will be a student run production of the popular children’s book, Phantom Toll Booth starting April 20. Be sure to bring the family to this entertaining play. Please check for specific deadlines! For example, San Jose State University requires placement The California State University system­ wide placement testing program in basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills consist of the English Placement Test (EPT) and the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) examination. All students must pass the CAHSEE as part of their graduation requirements to earn a diploma. Students who do not pass the CAHSEE may be placed in a workshop class next year. Your son/daughter will have another opportunity to take the CAHSEE their Junior year. Results for this exam will be mailed home in May. Students received information on graduation requirements, college entrance requirements and course offerings for the 2013­2014 school year. Students & parents/guardians will receive a program verification letter spring semester. Students have until April 26, 2013 to make any changes. Prior to April 26 th , students can make changes to their list of courses at any given time either via loopmail or by visiting with his/her guidance advisor in the Student Services Center.
