Instruction Manual Project
You have been working on graphing and writing equations of conic sections. It is helpful to
have a step-by-step guide to help you graph.
It is your job to create an instruction manual for graphing conic sections. Consider this a
reference guide to everything you would need to know for Ch. 10.
You should include the following, at minimum:
 Equations for all conic sections
 Pictures
 Steps for graphing and writing equations for each of the 4 conic sections
Design the instructions so that you would be able to follow them. They should be as simple and
clear as possible, but could also include an element of creativity. You will be graded on
completeness and aesthetic design.
The manual is due on Friday April 27.
