POSSIBLE LIFE
AHRC’s Middle High School - 1201 66th Street Brooklyn, NY 11219
Presenters: Sandra Moody, Corporate Director of Quality Improvement & Outcomes
Naida Urena, Corporate Quality Improvement Specialist; AHRC New York City
Personal outcome measures, person centered planning, self-direction and CQL are terms that
will soon have a direct impact on the services your loved one with a developmental
disability receives. It is important that you understand what they mean and how they will
impact services.
To ensure that your loved one receives the kinds of supports they desire and need AHRC
New York City has developed a Quality Improvement Department to guide the organization in
CQL (Council on Quality & Leadership) methods. These methods have been developed over
decades and AHRC is currently using them to assess what the people we serve want and
how they define quality in their lives. Join this important discussion that will explain some
of the changes happening in the field, and how AHRC New York City intends to assist your
loved one in receiving services of the highest quality.
