Superstar!
When in disgrace with Fortune and men’s eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state,

down your spine? Relax! You don’t
have to be intimidated by the lofty
language of a sonnet. With patience and
careful reading—and a little help from
William Shakespeare himself—you can
master the meaning behind these lyrical
poems. You can even learn how to write
on the next page. Then follow the steps
below to write your own.
