Introduction:
The academic excellence of Superior research conferences can be witnessed from the
fact that for the last six years, Azra Naheed Centre for Research and Development
(ANCRD) has been providing the opportunity to the researchers through symposia,
workshops, panel discussion, and trainings and finding options for international collaborations.
This year’s conference, ICMR 2015, revolves around ‘GREEN ECONOMY IN THE EMERGING MARKETS—RENEWABLE ENERGY ROLE IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF EMERGING MARKETS’. Today, the entire world is concerned about the climate change. Air
and water in most parts of the world is polluted. Number of people living below the
poverty line (less than US Dollar 2 per day) is increasing day by day. Unemployment
is rising to name the few things. Green economy is considered to be a solution particularly for the emerging markets. However, it is a challenge to implement a green
economic development plan.
The conference aims to encourage the delegates from different fields of life and
help them gain an understanding of the factors that trigger growth in emerging markets. This thought provoking topic invites papers to help academicians and corporate
managers to increase their understanding of the role of Emerging Markets in global
economy. The conference will include plenary sessions on different tracks, symposia
and workshops designed to share ideas and research findings. The panel discussion by
international and national speakers will share their ideas, explore the issues faced
by academicians and practitioners and mutual discussion will result in generating applicable solutions to these issues.
The conference will provide a platform for every individual to learn from their sagacity and experiences. Besides this, it will act as a bridge between seasoned and young
researchers who will ultimately add to the existing pool of knowledge. This event will

While we encourage papers that address the conference theme, we also welcome
papers that fall outside of the main conference theme but deal with issues of international business in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the USA and the interactions between
these regions.

Submission Rules
The International Conference on Management Research on “Emerging markets’ Role
in the Global Economy” invites electronic submissions of abstracts/full papers which
should be sent no later than August 03, 2015.
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. The application request should include the speaker’s name, place of work and
position, the contact details including complete address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail and the title of the proposed report.
Paper abstracts should be submitted at conference@superior.edu.pk in word or
PDF format, with spacing 1.5, and up to 500 words. The abstract should outline
the topic, show the purpose and the type of research and include a description
of the re-search project indicating whether the paper is theoretical or empirical, data sources and research method, as well as the key results and principle
references. Authors should identify multiple keywords in their papers and indicate the track. Applications which do not contain the main thesis of the paper
or which are less than 1 page in length will not be accepted. The final decision
as to which paper will be accepted as plenary or track presentations will be
made as a result of the review process.
Authors may submit more than one paper but only one paper can be accepted
as first author. However, this author can be co-author of two other submitted
papers as well.
Papers will be evaluated by the committee and authors will be notified of acceptance/ rejection by 28 August, 2015.
Full papers are limited to 15 typed written pages in length with spacing 1.5,
(including tables and figures) excluding references. (Any paper exceeding the
specified limit will not be included in the review process.)

ICMR-2014
Superior University successfully organized its 5th consecutive International
Conference on Management Research (ICMR) on November 20-21, 2014 with
the cooperation of IESEG School of Management, France; ICRIM, Italy; and the
Italian and French Embassies. This time, the conference theme was “Emerging Markets’ Role in the Global Economy”. In addition, researches across the
globe, academicians of different local and international universities, representatives of French and Italian Embassy, political personalities, industrialists
and CEOs of national and multinationals, businessmen, heads of the corporate institutions and research scholars attended the conference by sharing
their magnificent experience, knowledge and expertise.
The opening session of the conference started with the welcome speech of
Pro Rector Superior College, Dr Sikander Khan, who welcomed the honorable
guests and participants of the conference. Furthermore, he emphasized on
the role of research in different fields where there are new problems being
faced by local and international industries and researchers in this emerging
markets. Having focused on the research culture, he shared his views regarding the new challenges and issues in this century and gave the solutions of
these problems in the light of research.
Onwards, the chief guest of the event, Rana Mashood, Minister of Education,
Government of Punjab, addressed the participants by highlighting the opportunities for human development. He said, “The 5th International Conference shows the commitment and dedication of the Superior College creating
a mindset and fostering the soft image of Pakistan among the international
community.” He further viewed, “Owing to the participation of the international and renowned scholars, more avenues of investment and opportunity
will be explored which will be beneficial to Pakistan in the coming years.”

Later on, the Chairman, Superior Group of Colleges, Chaudhry Abdul Rehman in
his speech thanked chief guest Rana Mashood and other guests Majid Zahoor;
Rashid Mansur, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Turkey; Mohammad Hossain Bani Asadi, Consul General, Islamic Republic of Iran; Prof Stephen Murdoch;
diplomats; delegates and researchers. He remarked the efforts being undertaken
by the Azra Naheed Centre for Research and Development (ANCRD) and partners institutes of France and Italy for extending their support and developing
research in Pakistan. He highlighted the importance of research by sharing his
views, “Research provides oxygen to academia and through research, we can
iron out all our industrial, local and international issues. This research conference will prove fruitful for our young researchers who would also get exposure
from the seasoned and well known scholars in the conference. Not only research
culture is promoted but also this conference provides a number of opportunities
to establish networking and develop a common pool where researchers can share
and get knowledge out of this research pool. Besides, I wish that this conference
will help improve our national economy in the shape of investment and exploring
new horizons and resources.”
The conference included plenary sessions on different tracks, symposia and
workshops designed to share ideas and research findings. In panel discussion, the
national and international speakers shared their ideas and explored the issues
faced by academicians and practitioners proposing applicable solutions. Another
glaring feature of the ICMR 2014 was its Pakistan, France and Italy, Turkey and
China business forums where the presence of emissaries and diplomats raised
the importance of ICMR. The objectives of these forums were to explore the
potential business opportunities among these countries and to provide academic
and corporate world with the understanding of the paradigms of international
business networks.
Besides, in this conference, international researchers and seasoned famous experts helped Pakistan in exploring the important topics of Strategic Human Resource Management, Marketing, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Women Empowerment, Economics, Leadership and much more.
Another glaring feature of the conference was the presentation of 200 research
papers from France, Turkey, Russia, China, the USA, the UK and different parts of
Pakistan. The second day of the conference ended with the certificate awarding
ceremony.
