Be more understanding of people dealing with mental illness and be aware of my own mental health challenge Difference between mental health and mental illness Everyone has their own story. Experiences about mental illness Help people who I would usually pass by It is okay to ask for help Mental illness is complex, but we can do our best to raise awareness Most attendees are already interested in mental health, the messages are clear to t his population Not always happy; unique experiences Short films are very powerful in conveying the daily realities of living with a mental illness Stigma Stigma around mental health has a very strong presence in our society Stigma is significant in unwillingness to seek mental health services Stigmatization can be more harmful That awareness is one of the best cures The panel was very helpful There are many facets to mental illness There are some fantastic short films about mental illness out there We really need to work toward reducing mental health stigma even more.
