OneGoal a national movement changing the trajectory for our country’s most underserved youth during a unique window in time: ● Achieve Atlanta – a partnership between the philanthropic community, APS and postsecondary partners – has allocated financial support and is championing OneGoal’s entry into Atlanta. They are committed to doubling the number of APS graduates having a postsecondary degree or credential by 2025. ● By 2017, OneGoal will serve 9,000 high school students (“OneGoal Fellows”) in nearly 200 schools in 6 communities across our country. ● OneGoal’s teacherled inschool, threeyear college access and success curriculum is reversing the odds. 77% are persisting or have graduated from college. The Person You believe and your work has demonstrated your belief that all students can earn a college degree and the life that comes with it. As the founding Executive Director, your mission is to twofold: ● First, you will set the vision and direction for the greater Atlanta community which will refuse to write off the vast majority of our city's students children as “not college bound.” Instead, they will embrace the belief that with the right support all students, not just those at the top of their class can and will persist through college. ● Second, you will launch the OneGoal enterprise, which includes: ○ Hiring a team ○ Building relationships with school districts, schools, and teachers ○ Cultivating a base of champions including funders and building a Board of Directors ○ Managing and delivering the OneGoal program in Atlanta Though the Executive Director is likely to see him/herself in the following examples, these are
