She holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and Mathematics from the UWI, Cave Hill and a PhD in Chemistry from Dartmouth College where her research focused on the chemistry of the heterocyclic compound, indole. Dr. Badenock’s awards include the R L Seale Prize in Chemistry, the UWI Class of 1996 Valedictorian award, a Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship (declined), a GAANN Fellowship under a Department of Education training grant, the John H.
