MSHis a leading US-based non-for-profit organization that is working in more than 65 countries to improve the health of the world's most vulnerable people. In the field of Pharmaceutical Services, the USAID-funded RPM Plus and SPS programs of MSH-Ethiopia have been at the forefront ART Drug Supply Management, promotion of the Rational Use of Medicines and improving the quality of pharmaceutical services and access to them by following a health-systems- strengthening approach. The major partners with whom our projects are implemented are the Pharmaceutical Fund and Supply Agency (PFSA), the Food, Medicine and Health Care Administration and Control Authority (FMHACA),Regional Health Bureaus, schools of Pharmacies of public universities and the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Association (EPA). During his stay with MSH-Ethiopia, Ato Ermias Assefa Eshetu was responsible for the acquisition and compilation of Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) data from hundreds of health facilities located in Eastern Ethiopia. The information he generated was useful to monitor patient adherence to ART, determine patient uptake and served as an input to the quantification and procurement of ARV . drugs. Ato Ermias Assefa Eshetu is a hard-working and sociable person who always met what was expected of him. He left MSH because the project phased out in December 2011. Ermias was working on regular full time basis as a Data Manager from February 11, 2008 to December 9, 2011. His employment with MSH was terminated due to close out of SPS project. Ermias basic annual salary was 98,412.94 ETB. Moreover, he was entitled to other benefits that MSH provides as per MSH rules and regulations. All income taxes were deducted and paid to the concerned tax authority. He has returned all properties of the organization. We wish him success in his future professional career.
