ACADEMIC STAFF
LANGUAGE INSTRUCTOR (ESL)
UUM is a comprehensive Business and Management University and it invites young
and dynamic applicants who have a deep passion for ELT education to become
part of the collegiate family as Language Instructors (ESL), on a permanent or
contractual basis. The position is open to all nationalities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Non-Malaysian citizens aged 18 years and above;
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (Modern Languages:
Instruction and Evaluation, English Language, TESL/ TEFL/ TESOL/ ELT/
English Literature) or its equivalent which is recognized by the Government
of Malaysia; Candidates must demonstrate academic excellence in their area of expertise;
Candidates who are highly dedicated and committed to teaching
Ability to work in teams is essential
APPOINTMENT STATUS: University Fellow
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Teach at least one (1) course/subject per semester;
Prepare teaching and learning materials on topics covered in the syllabus;
Provide consultation to students ;
Prepare question papers for examinations and perform invigilation duties;
Assist in academic related administrative duties.
