MUSIC FOR TUESDAYS AT 12:10 ON APRIL 12 – Diane
Menges, soprano; David Gooding, piano: All
American Art Song, Opera, and Music Theatre. These
programs are held in the sanctuary and are open to the public. Bring
your brown bag lunch – we provide coffee, tea, and cookies. Each
program concludes before 1:00 pm – come when you can, and leave
when you must. A free will offering to benefit the Messiah Choir is
always appreciated.
MESSIAH’S ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT – SATURDAY,
APRIL 23 – Hop on over to Messiah's 12th Annual
Easter Egg Hunt!!!! Calling all bunnies, (oops!)
children (2 years old to 4th grade) to shake your
bunny tails over to Bain Park Pavilion, by the
playground, on Saturday April 23, at 3 p.m. for the
awesome old fashioned egg hunt! Bring your own basket or bag for
the event. Donations Needed!! Please drop off bags of wrapped
candy, and/or items we can use for prizes: Nerf items, Barbie dolls,
outside sports balls, etc. to the church office by Monday April 18,
2011. We already have eggs! Please Call Carol Moeller at 440-3331481 if you would like to help with the hunt!
TIME TO ORDER YOUR EASTER LILIES! Easter flowers
remind us of the season and beautify our chancel at this
most important time of the year. Easter Lily plants cost
$10 each. You may take flowers home after the services
on Easter Sunday. Please order your flowers by

THE PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY WILL NOT BE MEETING ON PALM SUNDAY,
APRIL 17. We will continue to meet the Sunday after Easter.
This year we have completed 12 baby shawls and 10 prayer
shawls. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. And,
thank you to the ladies who accomplished all of this.

MESSIAH SCHOOL IS ACCEPTING RESUMES FOR THE POSITION
POSITION OF PRINCIPAL,
starting with 2011-12 school year. Applicants can also use
Monster.com to apply online. Application deadline is April 17.
MESSIAH SCHOOL SECRETARY POSITION OPENING – Messiah is accepting
resumes for a full time school secretary. This job becomes available
beginning with the 2011-2012 school year. Resumes should be
submitted to Robert Rami, Interim Principal by May 1.

YOUTH MISSION POSSIBLE VII, LUTHERAN CHURCH

KOKOMO, IN, July 17 — 23, 8th grade – High School, Cost: (est.)
$250.00 – Messiah will be participating with Lutheran Church of Our
Redeemer in Kokomo to help with construction, painting, re-building
and landscaping activities in that community. Housing will be
provided by members from the congregation including all meals. We

DOWN WORLD— A SEMINAR FOR PARENTS –

• Understanding the struggle of power & control
• Admitting the pressures in our culture on our children—and

This seminar will give you insights and tools to improve your
parenting of teenagers and preteens. Every parent will benefit from
this video. Invite your friends, grandparents and neighbors.

Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry – Furniture Connection.
Furniture Connection needs your donations. This
organization collects gently used furniture, cleans it,
performs minor repairs and supplies basic essentials for men, women
and families transitioning out of homeless shelters and into housing.
They need: mattresses, box springs, frames, dressers, nightstands,
couches, loveseats, upholstered chairs, end tables, coffee tables,
dinette sets, small televisions, microwaves and dishes, pots, pans,
silverware and linens (please box and mark accordingly). For
