About Ron Davis
Labelled autistic and mentally retarded as a child, Ron
describes himself as coming from a void. "There was no sense
of being an individual, so there was no ‘me’. Without a ‘me’
there was no basis for memory or knowledge". Around the
age of nine, Ron began to individuate. Looking back, he could
see that there were three different stages he went through to
get to where he is now: individuation, identity development
and socialization.
Rocky Point Academy Presents
Davis Autism Approach®
Coaching Seminar
"My primary task, from the
beginning, was to find a way that
would allow me to be ‘normal’, or
at least appear to be. If I could find
my own way through this chaos
and if I could provide a ‘map’ for
others of my kind to follow, then
there would be value in my
existence. The Davis Autism Approach ® is my best
effort at providing that map.”

The Davis Autism Approach
establishes a framework on which
an autistic will begin to build and
grow. It is provided in a gentle, noninvasive manner. This enables an
individual to explore each step with
a parent (or helper) at their own
pace so that mastery of each level
is attained.
