About Ron Davis Labelled autistic and mentally retarded as a child, Ron describes himself as coming from a void. "There was no sense of being an individual, so there was no ‘me’. Without a ‘me’ there was no basis for memory or knowledge". Around the age of nine, Ron began to individuate. Looking back, he could see that there were three different stages he went through to get to where he is now: individuation, identity development and socialization. Rocky Point Academy Presents Davis Autism Approach® Coaching Seminar "My primary task, from the beginning, was to find a way that would allow me to be ‘normal’, or at least appear to be. If I could find my own way through this chaos and if I could provide a ‘map’ for others of my kind to follow, then there would be value in my existence. The Davis Autism Approach ® is my best effort at providing that map.” Rocky Point Academy Suite #230, 295 Midpark Way SE Calgary, Alberta, T2X 2A8 www.davisautism.com www.calgaryautism.com 403-685-0067 Email: info@calgaryautism.com “Nurturing Nurturing the Seed of Genius” Designed by Ron Davis, who mapped his own journey out of severe autism so that others could also begin to participate more fully in life. ® Davis Autism Approach Coaching Seminar Come learn and experience the step-by-step step process that will enable an autistic individual to participate more fully in life.
