* FESHE Compliant:
The Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education
(FESHE) network was developed by the National
Fire Academy as a way to coordinate efforts in
providing higher education for fire and emergency
services personnel. A FESHE compliant degree
means that the degree is based upon a model
being used nationally containing standardized
fire technology curriculum. This will enable
preparation of well trained and academically
educated firefighters and provide a national model
for an integrated system of higher education for fire
and emergency service professionals.
