3 Great Reasons to Partner with the Issaquah Schools Foundation

advertisement
The Issaquah Schools Foundation (ISF) was formed in 1987 to help
conquer the effects on chronic under funding of education. We are
an independent, community powered nonprofit organization that has
provided over $7 million toward programs that advance achievement,
support struggling students and promote professional development.
Our annual operating budget has grown significantly in the past five years to over
$1,100,000 in FY 2011-2012.
Our recently completed ‘GOT SCIENCE’ Elementary Science Initiative Campaign raised $438,000 from parents
and community members. These funds enabled the District to upgrade 10-year-old science materials with a
comprehensive new $1.1 million dollar curriculum designed to prepare students for careers in the STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering, and Math) arena.
3 Great Reasons to Partner with the Issaquah Schools Foundation
1. Market Your Business to a Target Audience

3.
Secure Your Community’s Economic Vitality
Our schools are a major economic engine; providing jobs and generating revenue—and can play a significant role in your hiring efforts. Parents want to live near great schools and will pay a premium to
do so. These parents, who have earned college degrees and beyond, have higher annual incomes--thus more dollars to spend on your products and in your community.
Did You Know? Each new high school graduate yields $209,000 in net economic benefit.
