Corporate Policies and Procedures Acknowledgement
I understand that I am expected to read and comply with the policies and procedures outlined in the Corporate
Human Resources Policies and Procedures, available on myBlock, as well as all Company policies and
procedures applicable to my position. I understand that the Company may amend its policies and procedures at
any time and that I must comply with all policies and procedures as amended. I also understand that if I have
questions concerning any of the policies or procedures of the Company, I should contact my manager, the
People Center, or other persons identified in the H&R Block Code of Ethics and Business Conduct for
clarification. I understand that violating the Company’s policies, including, without limitation, those specifically
identified below, can result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of my employment or, if I am a
contingent worker, my assignment.
I specially acknowledge that I have received the H&R Block Code of Business Ethics & Conduct (“the Code”)
or have access to it on myBlock. I understand that I am obligated to read the Code in full and sign the
accompanying Acknowledgment and Certificate of Compliance within thirty days of my hire date or, if I am a
contingent worker, my assignment. I further understand that I must comply with the spirit and letter of the Code
at all times.
I specifically acknowledge that I have been advised of the H&R Block Corporate Anti-Discrimination and
Anti-Harassment Policy and have access to it on myBlock. I understand that discrimination and harassment
based upon legally protected characteristics including race, color, religion, national origin, sex, pregnancy,
sexual orientation, marital status, age, disability, and veteran status is strictly prohibited. I agree that I will make
all employment decisions based on merit without regard to characteristics protected by law and that I will not
engage in or condone sexual harassment or harassment based upon any protected class. I understand that it is
my duty to report violations of the policy and that I can do so without fear of retaliation. I further understand that
I must report violations to my supervisor, or the H&R Block People Center at 877-222-5547.
I specifically acknowledge that I have been advised of the H&R Block Corporate Information Security Policy
and have received a copy of it or have access to it on myBlock through the Information Security page. I
understand that the policy summarizes my responsibilities to protect the confidentiality of client and associate
data as well as other proprietary information of the Company, but that fully detailed versions of all of the
Company’s policies relating to information security are available on myBlock through the Information Security
page. I understand that I am obligated to read those polices and comply with them without exception.
I understand that neither the Corporate Human Resources Policies and Procedures, individually or as a whole,
nor any other Company policy or procedure, is or shall be construed as a contract, implied or otherwise,
between H&R Block and any of its associates or contingent workers or a guarantee of employment or
assignment for any specific period.

I herby acknowledge that I have received H&R Block’s Code of Business Ethics & Conduct, that I have read and understand the
Code, and that I am expected to comply fully with the policies stated in the Code as well as all Company policies. I understand
that the term “Company” means all subsidiaries of H&R Block, Inc. and that, if I am employed by a subsidiary of H&R Block, Inc.
that has policies in addition to those stated in the H&R Block Code of Business Ethics & Conduct, I must also comply with those
policies. I understand that an “exception” means any situation in which I am not in complete compliance with the Code or other
Company policy.

and obligations under the Code.
Failure to read and/or sign the Code in no way relieves you of the responsibility to comply with the policies, practices, and
