Recommended Keyboarding Websites: 1. A very kid-friendly site for practicing the keyboard; kids love it: http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/typing/ 2. Another option for practice; not as kid-friendly, but has its merits: http://www.netrover.com/~kingskid/typing/lesson1jf.html 3. To get your child to learn the keyboard in a fun way: Go to www.abcya.com, click 2nd grade (or above), then click on “Keyboard Challenge” 4. There are many fun typing games at abcya.com as well as on www.powertyping.com. Recommended Spanish Websites: 1. The site we use most in class: http://www.123teachme.com/learn_spanish/spanish_for_children 2. This site has a long list of topics the students may be learning at any given time. For example, “days of the week.” You click on that topic and there are multiple ways for them to practice and quiz themselves on it, from flashcards, to matching, to crossword puzzles, etc. http://www.studystack.com/Spanish 3. This last site is one where you can go, type a word either in English or in Spanish, and get the meaning of the word in the other language. www.spanishdict.com If interested in more sites/links, let me know! ~ Ms. Falcón
