Top Ten Reasons to Partner with Cristo Rey High School
1.
Employees ready to work. Cristo Rey High School students are t ra ine d
and ready to work. No more screening processes or probation periods.
2.
Easy, effective, inexpensive administration. Cristo Rey High School WorkStudy, Inc., a separately incorporated 509(a)3, covers all administrative costs,
taxes, worker’s comp and benefits.
3.
Dependable, entry level workforce. Students are transported to and from work
on a reliable schedule and come prepared with lunches.
4.
Improve employee morale. Drive productivity and reduce employee “burnout” from repetitive clerical assignments, freeing more skilled employees for other
tasks and filling entry-level positions with enthusiastic young people.
5.
Public Recognition. Join the growing number of companies partnering with
Cristo Rey and be recognized for your support of education.
6.
Jump start long-term recruiting strategies. Help students build skill sets,
develop professional relationships, provide meaningful mentoring relationships
between students and employees, all while encouraging students to return to work
for you after college.
7.
Increase c o m p a n y diversity. Not only are Cristo Rey students young, they
come from diverse ethnic backgrounds and bring a sense of vibrancy to your
workplace. Many are bilingual (currently in Spanish and Hmong).
8.
Invest in Community’s Future. Contribute to the economic development of the
Sacramento region, directly impacting a college-bound workforce.
9.
Make a difference. Impact the lives of highly motivated students who are gaining
confidence and self-respect.
10. Be a part of a program that really works! In Sacramento, 100% of the
graduating class of 2011 was accepted to college.
