You pick the month and day.
We promote your day through our newsletter, which reaches
over 600 families; our website; through email; in posters; and
in press releases to the local media.
You donate a percentage of that day’s proceeds to The Children’s Playhouse. Restaurants typically donate between 15%
and 20%. Donations to The Children’s Playhouse are tax-deductible to the
extent allowed by law.

The Children’s Playhouse
Situated near downtown Boone, nonprofit
children’s museum The Children’s Playhouse
provides children from birth to age eight with
an enriching play environment while at the
same time offering their parents friendly support in the important job of raising children.
Stimulating arts– and science-based programs,
enticing play areas and exhibits, and informative parenting resources all support this mission. The Playhouse is supported in part by
Watauga County, the Town of Boone, and the
High Country United Way.
