Dear HRG-UCLCC Families,
It is just a short time until Spring Break. It
is hard to believe the semester is almost half
over…it seemed to fly by!!! We hope spring is
right around the corner so we can start spending
more time outside and begin our gardening  The
UCLCC remains busy and many fun activities are
happening for the children including a Dr. Seuss
reading day on March 2nd. I hope you are all
enjoying the FABULOUS weekly newsletters the
teachers are emailing out to you and highly
encourage you to sign up for a parent-teacher
conference when the time rolls around again in
April! The teachers have been working incredibly
hard assessing all the children and their
development and putting together individual
portfolio binders for them to share with you. It’s
incredible what they do and the amount of
educational learning opportunities that are
provided to the children here.
As always, all parents are welcome to visit
anytime! Bring on the warmer weather 

Summer @ HRG-UCLCC
Information on summer registration will be
included in April’s center newsletter. Any
changes in rates will go into effect June 1st.

Scholastic Book Fair

Online Book Fair goes starts February 13
through March 4
All instructions and forms for purchasing books are
located in the middle of the cubbies directly across
from the sign-in computer.
Please remember to not take the last book.
They are indicated with a tag that says ‘last book’.
We are able to order that item for you to be
delivered to the center for free.
Check out the teachers’ wish list poster
hung on the wall. If you would like to donate books
to your child’s room add the book to your total and
bring it to the office.
If you have any questions please feel free to
stop into the office.

Spring break LUNCH
FROM HOME
Lunches will need to be brought from home the
week of Spring Break as our caterer is closed at
that time.
This means you will need to bring lunches from
March 21-25.
New Practicum
Students Begin
As of Monday, March 28th we have three
practicum students who will be joining our
Playhouse and Rainbow classrooms for the
next six weeks. Melanie Earll will be with
Playhouse, Dana Guenterberg and Tanya
Woefel in Rainbow.
Each student will be here identical hours to
that of the teachers they are working with.
Watch for future communications from each
classrooms lead teacher for a more in-depth
introduction to each. We wish them the best
during their time here and are glad to have
them with us!
Extra Clothes
NEEDED!!
We really need all families to be sure you have 12 sets of extra clothes (socks, underwear, pants,
& shirt) here at all times. We go outside and get
wet and dirty twice a day most days. Please check
what is in their cubbies nightly so you know what
needs to be replaced.
At this time we do not have any extra center
clothes in our 2, 3, and 4 year classes. If your
child has come home dressed in any clothing
from UCLCC please return them as ASAP.
