Members of the Superintendent’s Advisory Committee on School Facilities
The citizen members of the committee reside in the Shaker Heights school district. They are serving as volunteers.
John (Jack) Boyle III, Committee Chair, oversaw the transformation of the Cleveland State University
campus during his tenure as vice president, earning a reputation for high-quality design standards and his ability
to tap into many funding sources. Prior to joining the CSU staff, he headed United Agencies Insurance Group
and served as a council member and mayor of Cleveland Heights. Boyle holds a bachelor’s degree in finance
from Boston College and a master’s in urban planning from CSU’s Levin College of Urban Affairs.
Richard Bauschard, AIA, has provided facility assessment and master planning services for 13 school districts
throughout Ohio on behalf of the Ohio Schools Facilities Commission. In addition, he has provided restoration
services on a number of buildings on the National Register of Historic Places, and has been designated as a
Historic Restoration Architect by the Ohio Historic Preservation Office. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture
from Syracuse University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
R. Kevin Madison, RA, is vice president of Robert P. Madison International, Inc., a Cleveland-based
architectural, engineering, and planning firm. He holds LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
certification and is a member of the Shaker Heights Planning Commission. Madison has extensive experience
with educational facilities and is currently part of a team that is planning the replacement or renovation of
Akron’s schools.
Linda Rae is president of Keithley Instruments, Inc., a world leader in advanced electrical test instruments and
systems. Prior to joining Keithley in 1995, she was a systems engineer for Bailey Controls. Rae earned a BS in
Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida, a master’s in business administration and a master of
science in electrical engineering, both from Case Western Reserve University.
Paul Repasy is a science teacher at Shaker Heights Middle School. He joined the Shaker faculty as a High
School biology teacher in 1991 and earned tenure in 1995. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from John
Carroll University and a master’s in biology from Kent State University. Repasy was appointed to the committee
as a representative of the Shaker Heights Teachers’ Association.
Stephen J. Strnisha is a strategist with Project Management Consultants, a Cleveland firm that provides
assistance with public-private financing for development projects. A former director of finance for the City of
Cleveland, he has also held leadership positions in economic development in the public and private sectors. He
holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and a master’s in public administration from Syracuse University.
Lee C. Weingart is founder and president of LNE Group, a professional services firm specializing in strategic
advocacy and lobbying for clients in the public and private sectors. A former Cuyahoga County Commissioner,
Weingart earned a law degree from The George Washington University National Law Center. He received his
bachelor of arts degree in economics and management from DePauw University.
Christopher Wynn, AIA, is director of design and principal in charge for Osports, a division of Osborn
Engineering specializing in athletic and recreational facilities. His experience includes design of a 5,000-seat
baseball park in Avon, Ohio; design of the Don Shula Stadium at John Carroll University; and participation on
the design team for Cleveland Browns Stadium. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the
University of Cincinnati.
The District will be represented by Christine Auginas, Assistant to the Superintendent, and Robert P. Kreiner,
Business Administrator. The Mayor of Shaker Heights will appoint a City representative.
