Talent in Malaysia
20
Companies have long complained about a shortage of skilled labour in
Malaysia and economists say it is severely affecting the country ability
to attract more high – technology industries.
NEAC : Malaysia losing skilled talent.
The most recent assessment by the World Bank suggests that firms have become
increasingly concerned about information technology ( IT ) skills, technical and
professional skills of Malaysian workers…..The Department of Statistics reports that in
2007, 80 % of Malaysia’s workforce received education up to SPM.
