Library and Information Centre
The Library and Information centre is the nerve centre of NIT&MS.
We have well stacked library in a separate block consisting of an
auditorium, which can accommodate approximately 500 members
in the Ground oor & mezzanine oors. The library is located in
upper oors with a built-up area of over 1000 Sq.mts.
The library has beautiful and elegant interiors. Over 7500 volumes of
books with more than 1500 titles. We have subscribed for National
and International Journals and Periodicals. In addition, it has
handbooks and Encyclopedia.
Due diligence is given in selecting the books to provide ample reference on Professional Ethics, Engineering
Ethics, Grammar and language vocabulary enhancement materials (reading and audio supported). Another
noteworthy aspect of the library is its Digital Library, which has a good collection of e-learning resource material.

About the College
Good teaching learning processes, exposure to modern technology,
interactive Outcome Based Education (OBE) approach of learning and
campus discipline are hallmarks of professional education. Any
stakeholder, especially the Industrial sector looks not only at the
academic excellence achieved by the students but also the professional
personality, communication skills and easy adaptability to a given
situation.
The NIT&MS campus is located in a picturesque ambience extending over an area of more than
ten acres. The location situated south of Bangalore at a distance of about 25km from the city
railway station, on Kanakapura Main Road (NH-209) is known for its scenic beauty. Adequate
instructional area-classrooms and tutorial rooms equipped with audio-visual facilities have been
provided to effectively bring out the teaching - learning process.

A Sound knowledge of basic sciences is necessary for engineers.
In order to supplement theory with practice in basic sciences,
the college has well equipped Physics Laboratory and Chemistry
Laboratories. In addition, Basic Workshop and Drawing Hall
necessary for rst year curriculum are in place with state of the
art facilities.
