2009 Relay for Life ‐ BET ON LIFE Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament Saturday, March 28, 2009 Entry Fee : $100 One‐time add‐On : $20 at start of play Initial Chip Stack: Add on Chips : $1,500 $500 How to Qualify ™ There will be two qualifier tournaments (9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.) Saturday, March 28, 2009. Each will have a maximum of 50 players. ™ The last five players standing in each qualifier tournament (finalists) will advance with their chip stack to the final table to be held at 6:00 p.m. that same day. If after four hours of play, more than five players remain in the qualifier tournaments, chip count will determine the top five players (finalists) who will advance to the final table. ™ If the last hand of the qualifier tournament results in less than five players remaining with chips, only the remaining players with chips will advance to the final table, since the ending qualifier tournament chips stack becomes the finalists’ stake at the final table. ™ Finalists will take their chips earned in the qualifier tournament to the final table. ™ The final table will play to last man standing with no time limit. ™ Contestants must be at least 18 years of age. ™ Contestants should arrive at least 15 minutes before the tournament begins. If a contestant is late, they have a three blind grace period during which time their chip stack will be in play as “post and fold” (see The Rules). Contestants who remain absent at the end of the third blind will no longer be eligible to play and their chip stack will be removed from the tournament.
