International Seal of Quality for Executive Education at TUM
“We are very happy to have achieved this accreditation. It means additional motivation for the
continuous further development of our programs for whose excellence we stand. We are
delighted for our excellent programs to gain increased exposure through this milestone of
international accreditation,” said Prof. Dr. Claudia Peus, Vice Dean Executive Education.
“Looking ahead into the future, accreditation by the AMBA further encourages us in expanding
our continuing education offering as well as our international cooperation initiatives with leading
universities and organizations,” said Bernhard Kraus, Managing Director of the Executive
Education Center.
Since its founding in 1967, the London-based Association of MBAs (AMBA) has been
committed to accrediting and raising the profile of international business education and
qualification for the academic title of Master of Business Administration (MBA). AMBA is the
only professional membership association connecting MBA students and graduates, accredited
business schools and MBA employers across the globe.
In the bigger picture, accreditation by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) is an international seal
of approval for continuing education programs, ensuring a consistent, independently verified
level of quality for all participants and stakeholders. Participants of the TUM School of
Management Executive MBA programs represent a diverse spread of nationalities: Austria,
Brazil, China, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Mozambique, Poland,
Romania, Russia, Sweden, Spain, Syria, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, USA, and
Venezuela. Meeting the stringent requirements for AMBA accreditation also reflects the high
quality standards maintained by TUM programs.
“Anyone earning their Executive MBA at TUM School of Management is advancing their career
with a high quality executive education program. The programs incorporate all key elements of
management, and especially leadership competences for successful managers in today’s global
business environment. This standard of excellence is once again confirmed by accreditation
from the AMBA,” said Prof. Dr. Claudia Peus, Vice Dean Executive Education.
The Executive Education Center at the TUM School of Management currently offers three
Executive MBA programs: The Executive MBA for executives and managers; Executive MBA in
Business & IT for managers in the age of digital transformation; and the Executive MBA in
Innovation & Business Creation for entrepreneurs and innovation managers.
