However, only Rs. 4,000/- out of this will continue to be treated as Faculty Perks and will be used as per past practices. Defining operating norms and schedules. Bringing out regular brochures for informing the user community on the type of service available and the procedures for obtaining service. Planning of upgradation and modernisation of the facilities to keep them responsive to user's needs. The user’s committee should meet at least once in a semester. 50% of the members will form quorum for the meeting. Any other matter referred to it by the Director. The additional amount of Rs. 6,000/- will be spent for books stationary, consumable etc. as per the norms of expenditure out of Non-Plan (NP-05) funds of the Departments/Centres. The entire contingency grant requirement will be met from the NonPlan funds allocated to the Departments/Centres/Schools and no additional funds will be allocated on this account. Water Test Report Four samples of drinking water for Chemical Test from IIT Campus Main Reservoir, Aravali Hostel Mess, Electrical Maintenance Staff Office, H.No.B-14/A-1 Niranjan Singh and Five samples of drinking water for Bacteriological Test from Main Reservoirs, H.No.115 Nalanda Apartment, Aravali Hostel Mess, P/H Electrical Maintenance staff office and H.No. B14/A-01 IIT Campus were collected by Delhi Jal Board, Okhla, New Delhi on January 6, 2006. The reports for these tests are as under: Analysis Report : On the basis of parameter tested, all the samples (1,2,3 and 4) confirm to IS-10500-1993 and can be considered fit for drinking purpose in the absence of other better source. Bacteriological Analysis Report : Collected water sample(s) as mentioned on Sr. No.289-293 were found Bacteriological satisfactory. Hence, the water/source is fit for drinking/recreational use.
