Application Enhancements
Black Box – CreateShipment / ShipShipment message
•
Issue with Serial Numbers section of the message not being processed correctly into the database now
corrected
•
Allow that the Duty payment method / Freight payment method / COD payment method may need to
be updated after running the routing assignment - as the delivery terms to payment method system
value may have been configured in the environment
End of Day Screen (SPSEOD)
•
Trap the published messages in programs that are called from SPSEOD button options, so that these
messages can be reviewed for audit purposes if required (e.g. generate PLD file for a carrier, and trap
the messages from within that carrier’s sub-programs, if any)
Messages are output to XTSPSEOD.TXT file when the user clicks on the "debug" button on the
SPSEOD screen
Hazardous Materials
•
The output on hazardous materials labels has been corrected for scenarios where multiple UN
numbers within the same package. A change has been made to prevent the repetition of the same UN
number being output multiple times.
•
Output the "OVERPACK USED" text on a UPS hazardous material label when applicable

LTL – Generic Label
•
The LTL label is restricted to 7 lines of address – change has been made to ensure that the address
line information takes precedence over the outputting of recipient phone and/or contact name, to
ensure that the most important information is output to the available number of lines on the label
Rate and Transit Time Maintenance – Fixes and Modifications
•
Correction for transit time determination for same-day service. If the transit time is less than 24 hours,
then determine if the number of hours transit will carry the ETA date into the next day or not based
on the number of hours left in the current day.
Rating Screen (Windows) – Fixes and Modifications
•
No changes in this service pack
Routing Guide – Modifications and Fixes
•

Replace with markers the white-on-black text for markers which had hardcoded text of white-onblack. This to resolve an issue with white-on-black printing on PDF versions of labels

Dynamic macro support for P2009 (this is where an image is output to a label through a second
macro, such as the conditional printing of an image based on a characteristic of the shipment)
