A verb is a word or set of words (verb phrase) that shows an action (runs, is going, has been painting); feeling (loves, envies); or state of being (am, are, is, have been, was, seem). a. Write 1 sentence using an action verb and underline it. b. Write 1 sentence using a linking verb and underline it. c. Write 1 sentence with a verb phrase and underline the whole verb phrase. d. Assignment #6 Conjunctions: Conjunctions are words that connect other words or groups of words. a. Write 1 sentence using the conjunction AND. b. Assignment #7 Pronouns: Pronouns are words that stand for nouns or for words that take the place of nouns. Use a pronoun in a sentence about your favorite hobby.
