Quote of the month: “Intelligence plus character-that is the goal of true education.” Martin Luther King Jr. WELCOME Augusta OCTOBER 2013 The faculty, staff and students of EGSC Augusta are up and running and looking forward to a spectacular semester. Many are still amazed at how fast the college has come together and many are also looking forward to our growth in the CSRA. We are now fully staffed with a tutor (Dr. Elizabeth Henry), administrative assistant (Ms. Charlene Blankenship), assistant director of student affairs (Nick Kelch) and our Director (Dr. Jeff Edgens). Our total enrollment for our opening semester was 100 students. Though it came with many challenges, our first semester was overall a success and it is much thanks to all of the EGSC family, as well as the helpful staff at Georgia Regents University. We are now planning for our upcoming Spring semester. We are hosting our next orientation on Thursday, December 19th. Spring classes start on Monday, January 6th.
