on its own. Starting with the instant noodle business in 1983, Paldo has also

The beverage business that started out in 1995 is meeting various needs of our customers through a clean and safe production
process. Korean traditional beverages such as Shikhye, Sujeonggwa and superior coffee brand Santafe have established leading
brands in the beverage market. Also, various other beverages such

With the first export in 1983, Paldo continued to increase the export volume until 1999 when its foreign demand really bloomed.
Currently Paldo is exporting to 100 distributors in over 50 countries
around the world. Especially the Dosirac instant noodle is boasting
a large market share in Russia and enhancing the national brand
of Korea. Paldo is now focused in entering and settling into local
markets and providing superior quality to its competitors cannot
match. Paldo is growing every year.
Distribution Business
The distribution network that Paldo started to build in 1995 with the
Ilsan Distribution Center has expanded to a total of 6 distribution
centers including Gonjiam, Uiwang, Nonsan, Daegu, and Gwangju
etc. With an efficient distribution system, Paldo is able to control
quality and safety more closely in all steps of the process; from the
production to delivery. We are doing our best to rationalize distribution channels and maximize distribution efficiency.

products; Kokomen, King Tukeong Bibim men, and the Ilpoom series, etc. Especially,
Kokomen has established itself in the Korean instant noodle market as an innovative product that opened up a new market category.

With a unique ingredient of chicken stock, Kokomen
is leading the instant noodle market with refreshing and spicy soup. It was based on the
recipe developed by Gyungyoo Lee, a famous
Comedian in Korea. He created this special
recipe as part of the show Man’s Qualification
aired on KBS. The recipe earned great praise
and became an instant hit.
This instant noodle product has strong beef flavor
with the pungency of red pepper. Vegetables added
to thick beef stock create a delectable soup. The
noodles are especially chewy and full and garlic
provides a refreshing after-taste leaving you wanting more. The red soup is thick and spicy. Paldo
has developed this instant noodle with care and
ambition to continue the huge success of Kokomen.
Bibim men was the first in the market to use
paste sauce. It is a dry instant noodle with spicy,
sour and sweet sauce. The chewy noodles will
make this instant noodle an all-time treat enjoyable anytime anywhere.
This instant noodle has been a summer favorite
with our customers for a long time.

Ilpoom Seafood, Jjajang
Dosirak
King Tukeong boasts large solid chunks of assorted vegetables and meat doused in thick and
rich soup. It’s packaged in a plastic bowl so you
can enjoy it anywhere. King Tukeong S contains
noodles made of starch from sticky potatoes.
The noodles are chewier and can cook only in 90
seconds making this instant noodle even more
enjoyable and easier to prepare.
Ilpoom Seafood contains solid blocks of ocean
delicacies such as squid, shrimp, mussel, and
wrinkled sea squirt in a refreshing and spicy
soup. Ilpoom Jjajangmen has traditional black
bean sauce cooked in open fire mixed with large
chunks of meat and vegetables. Fresh ingredients provide a rich flavor.
Dosirak is our flagship. Dosirak series have
beef, chicken, pork, shrimp and mushroom
flavors. Especially, This has a huge market and
very popular in USA, AUS, MONGOL.

Shikhye, Soojeonggwa
Korea’s traditional drinks enjoyed from the ancient
times, are reborn into modern beverages that can
be easily enjoyed anywhere. Shikhye does not contain any artificial colorings, or preservatives and is
the most representative drink of Korea. Soojeong
gwa contains cinnamon, ginger and dried persimmon as main ingredients and reproduces the same
rich flavor of traditional homemade Soojeonggwa.
Pororo
My Cute Friend Pororo is a non-carbonated
fruit juice drink with no artificial colorings. It
contains Vitamin D, Aeebon (children’s health
supplement), etc. to benefit growing children.
Santafe
Made from the best quality coffee beans only, this
coffee drink offers a deep and rich taste. This coffee brand is popular among the younger generation with various marketing activities based on the
theme of freedom and youth. The Santafe brand
promotes two bottled coffee drinks; Caffe Millet
and Caffe Vanille and two canned coffee drinks;
Santafe Original and Satafe Hazelnut.
Spring Water
This bottled drinking water is made from the
natural spring water of Mt. Jiri. It’s produced in

The Arrowroot Juice is a Korean traditional

Besides the instant noodle factory in Icheon and beverage factory in Jincheon, Paldo has built a new instant noodle factory with advanced facilities in Naju which will help strengthen Paldo’s lead position in the industry. Each
factory adjusts the production quota in real-time through the ERP system that monitors the distribution quantity.
This ensures that the products are always fresh and safe. Paldo’s products are delivered to stores and markets
across the country from the Distribution Centers of Paldo’s logistics network.

Paldo’s Research Center is the very engine of Korea’s food industry where nutrition experts work
together to create better food products. Continuous efforts in development of new health foods,
research on traditional foods, and improved production technology result in better products. Also,
Paldo is taking part in various academic conferences, thesis presentations, and university-industry

Paldo was established in January, 2012 but for the past four decades was part of Korea Yakult Corporation, a
leader in the food industry. Paldo has separated the instant noodle business, beverage business, overseas business, and distribution business etc. from its parent company and is making its first step as an independent subsidiary.
