We are full up! More than 850 exhibitors are expected at the next winter trade fair, from 14 to 17 September 2015. Texworld Paris will display a global range of fashion products from the major manufacturing countries of China, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Taïwan, Thailand, Turkey and Pakistan. The September event is a very important time for the exhibitors, whether they be weavers, knitters or embroiderers, because brands generally view two collections there at once, for winter and initial trends for the summer. This explains the exceptional level of reservations, as all the exhibitors want to be certain of being able to show their new creations to customers. Always setting trends and at the cutting edge, the exhibitors have surprised the selection committee with the quality and singularity of their collections. The sought-after work by textile designers in surprising textures, and ideas from stylists, pushed to the limit in some ways in respect of motifs and ranges of colour, is noteworthy. Michael Scherpe, CEO of Messe Frankfurt France, stresses: «Our efforts to feed all fashion’s creative influences into Texworld are inspiring exhibitors. In other respects, their collections, the quality of which is increasing more and more, are winning favour with designers, many of whom are developing fabrics, motifs and embroidery with our exhibitors.» International fashion brands and high street stores also appreciate this creativity and investment by the exhibitors in innovation. Numerous leading exhibitors are combining creativity of trends with cutting-edge technology, thanks to the latest generation of machinery developed by manufacturers such as Rieter, which is also exhibiting at Texworld Paris. 14 - 17 September 2015 2 THE SILK MANUFACTURERS OF THE HUZHOU REGION WILL BE EXHIBITING AN EXTENSIVE RANGE OF PRODUCTS. Silk is one of the most popular fabrics at Texworld, after cotton. More than forty silk manufacturers are expected at this event, including thirteen weavers from Huzhou in the province of Zhejiang, one of China’s famous silk production centres. Companies such as Huzhou Runyuan Silk, Huzhou Silkpride Textile, Huzhou Worldbest Tianchang Imp&Exp, Huzhou Yongchang Silk and Huzhou Dongli Silk are long-standing exhibitors which have been able to appeal to brands and especially manufacturers with the high quality of their silk: dupion, crepe, muslin, sheet, twill and silk satin. They are particularly prized for haute couture, evening wear and bridalwear brands. Purchasers in search of 100% silk fabrics will be able to choose from the wide range of silk collections such as Tongtex, Huzhou Linghu Wanshimei Wool-Knitting, Runchang Silk, etc. Two companies, Huzhou Styly Jingcheng Textile and Huzhou Worldbest Tianchang Imp&Exp Ltd, will be offering a wide choice of feel and hang for different mixtures, such as linen/silk, cotton/silk and silky fabrics in polyester or rayon.
