Reinforcing key concepts
To deepen the learning experience, instructors ask students to write specific data from the Late Nite
Labs experiment into tables in their physical lab notebook while they are working online. Students
submit their lab notebooks before each lab session so that instructors can determine the level of
preparedness and engagement heading into the on-campus lab. Since students actually do the
experiments in the wet lab, instructors also follow-up with a post-lab short answer assignment.
