Campus and Neighborhood Walking Tours
Our Student Ambassadors will guide you on a walking tour of our campus as well as the surrounding Upper West Side of New York.
They might even give you the “inside scoop” on all things NYIT. The tour is approximately 30 minutes.

Residence Hall Tours
Tour times: 11:30 a.m., Noon, 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2 p.m.
If you are considering university housing, stop by the library to sign up for a tour. Tours will be available throughout the day. Led by our
Residence Life team, these tours last approximately 90 minutes, including the subway ride to and from campus and the residence halls. MetroCards will be provided. Please be sure to visit all areas on campus before going on the residence hall tour.

Important Deadlines
Apply through the Common Application or NYIT Online Application
(nyit.edu/apply). Send your test scores to NYIT with SAT code 2561 and ACT code 2832.
• Priority Deadline for First-Year Applicants: Submit your application by November 1 to receive an admissions decision within four weeks.
You will automatically be reviewed for merit scholarships.
• Combined B.S. in Life Sciences/Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.)
Program: Submit application and 100 volunteer hours by January 16.
• B.S. in Nursing Program: Transfer students must complete their application by March 1 for the fall semester and October 1 for the spring semester.
• Financial Aid: Submit your FAFSA as early as possible for maximum consideration for all financial aid. NYIT’s priority deadline is March 1.
