WHICH PROJECTS WERE FUNDED IN THE PREVIOUS ACADEMIC

Tower House, Room 201. For more information, please contact Ms. Kari
Schaffer or Ms. Joyce Mulcahy at (516) 686-7630 or e-mail them at
kschaffe@nyit.edu and/or jmulcahy@nyit.edu.
WHEN IS THE PROPOSAL DUE AND WHEN WILL I RECEIVE A
RESPONSE?
In order to give faculty on all campuses the same amount of time to prepare
proposals, we require that your proposal be postmarked by October 9, 2003 or
delivered by hand to the Office of Academic Affairs by October 10, 2003.
SEND PROPOSALS TO:
Office of Academic Affairs
New York Institute of Technology

receive this acknowledgement within one week of submitting your application,
contact the Office of Academic Affairs office immediately. You should receive a
decision on your application by the end of the fall semester.
REVIEW OF PROPOSALS
Proposals will be reviewed by a committee of five faculty. This committee will
make recommendations for awards to the Vice President for Academic Affairs,
who will make the final decisions. Committee members, appointed by the VPAA,
will be tenured, active scholars or creative artists, representative of the different
scholarly/creative approaches at NYIT, and will have themselves previously
