Semester One Retake: AP US History All units are listed in this document. Last Day to Retake: January 9th. All practice work must be completed by January 6th to retake by the 9th to receive retake ticket. AP USH Retake: Unit II: Colonies Develop 1607-­1754 Summative How to 1. Have all homework completed. 2. Complete thorough Notes of chapters 2.3,4,5,6. Refer to the pdf “Taking Notes in APUSH” on how to take notes (note: In the Taking notes In AP USH, there are no unit IDs for this retake). This pdf. Is located on the Brooks AP USH website. 3. Paragraph reflection (at least 9 sentences): How did you prepare for this test? What resources did you use? How much have you been studying? What prevents you from studying more? 4. Come to tutoring by January 6th with questions or do an alternative task. Graded Formative To retake GFA #1: Colonies: Read online(on Brooks AP USH Website Charles Mann article on Jamestown). In one page, 300 words or less, in your own words, summarize Mann’s major argument and claims using specific evidence from the article. Advice: Press Control + F: to do a search on a webpage if you cannot find Mann’s article on the webpage. You will be assessed on the quality and content of your writing on the scale of 4.0 To Retake GFA #2: Intro Paragraph. Take notes on Pageant videos, if you have not. AP USH Retake: Unit III, 1754-­1800 Summative Assessment: Essay NEW Essay Question to address: Explain the major political, economic, and diplomatic causes and consequences for the call for the ratification of the U.S. Constitution and its adoption in 1787. How: 1. Have all homework completed. 2. Write a one paragraph reflection, using the rubric explain three ways (cite specific example from your essay), how you would improve your Unit III essay 3. Have thorough notes of Chapters 9-­‐10 of the American Pageant suing the textbook. Thorough notes capture the subtitle, explaining the significant details of each subsection showing a solid understanding of the material. 4.
