They strive to provide all the offerings that a student would experience on campus, online
So they have a bookstore, virtual library, career center, student union, tutoring
They also provide support to the faculty that is authoring courses in the D2L format,
provide workshops, conferences, pay for travel, 24x7 technical support, program mentors
20-24 personnel to a mentor

TBR use Impatica to put their presentations into a user friendly format that can be viewed by any
computer regardless of the software.
Question: Through our partnership, will MNPS be able to take advantage of the TBR pricing on
Impatica and other programs?
Margie and Robbie will iron that out.

• Instructional Technology Development Website

o Create a personal Technology Plan
o Tech Coaches can access assessment and plans to assist
• Curriculum Mapping through Dynamic Lesson Planning
o Instructional Technology Collaboration with all subject areas
o Will create a portal with resources for integration of technology
o Focusing on Math and Language arts as these are identified areas of
need.
• Microsoft Peer Coaching Program
o A team has been set up to implement a peer coaching program using
several tech coaches, a PAL, and some other key members.
o Training will be this summer
o Microsoft will be partnering with our district to create a viable program
• MNPS New Teacher Induction Resource Portal
• Other Collaboration Projects
Metro is partnering with TBR to set up our own Distance Learning program using D2L
As we are ready to create our own unique organization in D2L we will pull away from
TBR and go on our own.

State v. MNPS Standars: Language Arts, Math, and Science State standards are changing we
will eventually go to State Standards, but need to be prepared for one more year of the former
standards because of the TCAP.
For our Instructional Technology Plan we will integrate the new State Standards.
