Greetings! We have considered numerous options to accommodate the instructional periods missed during our snow days last week. After careful deliberation, we have decided not to adjust the academic calendar. Faculty members have numerous options available (e.g. online instruction) to meet the required number of instructional hours, and we think faculty members should decide the options that best meet the requirements of their courses. I discussed this with Board of Regents staff today, and they expect a Board statement to be released soon. If the Board statement somehow contradicts what is outlined above, then we will adjust accordingly. Thank you. Ken
