The objective of this assignment is to encourage you to find a job that
pays above minimum wage (minimum wage is currently $9.00, starting
January 2016 it will increase to $10.00). Many jobs state what their
starting pay is. For example, In-N-Out Burger‘s starting pay is $10.50
per hour. The Orangewood Resource Center job board, job book,
www.monster.com, www.ocjobfinder.com or the job-listing section in
your local newspaper(s) may be good resources for you. Once you
have acquired a job that pays above minimum wage, bring in a copy of
your pay stub to an Independent Living Coordinator for ILP dollars!
