Faculty and Administrative Responsibilities As Chair of the Department of History, Political Science, and Global Studies, I am responsible for faculty evaluations and annual department evaluation reports, control and direction of department budget, responsible for writing annual university catalog updates, responsible for writing KSDE program reviews, supervision of technology in the department, supervision of adjunct instructors, graduate assistant and student worker supervision, curriculum development and delivery, coursework and exam implementation, student advisement (10-20 students each semester), student teacher observations and evaluations, Service-Learning initiatives, development and supervision of individual education plans (IEPs) for students on academic probation or with special needs, and grade assignments for upper and lower level history courses, at both the Leavenworth and Overland Park Campuses.
