Speech I Pacing Guide Course Description: The speech course focuses on the coordination of the mind, body, and voice to communicate. In this course students prepare speeches, deliver them to the class audience, observe and critique each student’s presentation, and participate in class discussions. The course enables students to develop poise and effective techniques for various speaking situations.
