DEAA Tie Breaking Formula 2 way tie - the winner of the game between the two tied teams will place ahead. 3 way tie - if 3 teams tie with identical records ( 2 wins, 1 loss), a point differential is used to determine the top team. Only the games between tied teams are used. Add up the total points scored, and the pints against. The team with the best differential is declared top team. The other teams would then play off a 5 minute overtime to see who advances. Therefore, no team is eliminated due to point differential.
