Meeting LRHS graduation requirements does not ensure a
student has met college/university admission
requirements:

Grade Point Average needed for admission to a 4 year college on average is
3.00 GPA or better.

ACT score for a 4 year college on average is approximately a 21.

Colleges require certain core curriculum and it may be above what LRHS
requires for graduation (world language courses, extra math, science, etc.).

It is the student’s responsibility to check what colleges/universities may
require. LRHS Counselors can assist them.


Get Involved (organizations, sports, activities…)
Attendance




If you miss school, request homework and meet with your teachers
Talk to your teachers
Use Wildcat Nation Time wisely
Check the Student Portal
Verify grades are posted and correct
 Verity you have all assignments in


Recognize the classes you take Freshmen, Sophomore and Junior
year are what college/universities make an admission decision on.
Challenge Yourself!

Each year take challenging courses including Dual Credit Coursework
